Job Title: Afternoon Shift Supervisor Distribution (Chilled Goods)

Hours 40 hours per week

Shift Pattern 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 14.00 - 22.30

**Job Purpose**

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the global Lactalis Group. As a Supervisor, you will manage the staff on your shift, allocating and monitoring breaks, assigning staff to specific roles on a day-to-day basis. You will be responsible for ensuring the products in your area are stored, wrapped, rotated, bar-coded and despatched correctly and in the correct stock rotation.

You will ensure that all stock stored within chilled storage or wrapping hall are correctly identified for traceability purposes and finished goods are stored and protected to prevent the risk of contamination. Keeping the wrapping areas clean and tidy, you will assist management to ensure all finished goods are accurately despatched.

**Skills we need**

This is a physically demanding role, partly based in a cold environment -in refrigerated areas working in an area where immaculate hygiene standards are essential.

You will have supervisory experience and preferably have knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations and Health & Safety Regulations. You will be flexible, have an eye for detail, good written and oral communication skills along with good numeracy and literacy skills. Qualifications in Food Safety Level 2, HACCP Level 2 and Manual Handling would be beneficial although training will be provided.
