We are looking for an enthusiastic Operations Placement Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and **power your potential**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

- Identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities within the facility and rolling out improvement projects.
- Using Continuous Improvement and Industrial Engineering techniques to measure processes and quantify improvements.
- Ergonomics projects to improve manual handling processes with the use of lifting equipment.
- Coordinating cross functional UKLC projects with strategic importance to business transitions or processes.
- Review and improve current picking & packing processes for production & aftermarket customers.
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions, data analysis and presenting findings to the leadership team. Share best practices with other sites in the Cummins network.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

- We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a Business/Supply Chain/Logistics/Planning/Statistics degree.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to present confidently to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Solution orientated with excellent problem-solving skills.
