Anti-social Behaviour Officer

**What's involved with this role**:

The purpose of the role is to investigate cases of anti-social behaviour and work to resolve them. giving intensive support to council tenants and leaseholders as necessary. Agree and implement courses of action in conjunction with all relevant agencies/parties.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deal with all correspondence and, in conjunction with the Councils Legal Team, recommend appropriate legal action, including preparing and serving warnings, Notices, Acceptable Behavioural Contracts and Injunctions.
- Visiting Reporters and Subjects in their home and completing risk assessments and action plans.
- Preparing for and attending court both in the capacity of witness and supporting witnesses.
- Be a key member of the Tenancy Services Section, responsible for the management of all anti-social behaviour in accordance with the Councils policies and procedures.
- Support the councils move to a more place-based approach, working to instil community cohesion and community pride, working with and alongside residents to tackle issues and bring about positive
**Qualifications**:
- Must have 5 GCSE's - Grade C or above.
**Skills & Experience**:
- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Must have knowledge of housing issues and legislation regarding anti-social behaviour.
- Must have experience of working with people who may be vulnerable or have complex or multiple needs.
- Must have experience of managing conflict and dealing with disputes.
- Experience of working on QL Housing management System preferred.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite, Mosaic).
**Full UK driving licence required for the role.**
