Key Responsibilities
- Uphold excellent standards in customer service, dealing with patient queries associated with the service
- To be responsible for booking patients into outpatient clinics, admitting patients to A&E or Maternity whilst ensuring that all demographic information held on the hospital computer system and in the patients’ casenotes are correct.
- To input all attendances, outcomes and procedures onto the Meditech computer system.
- Respond to all enquiries telephone/visitors in a positive, tactful and helpful manner giving advice where necessary.
- To ensure administrative duties are carried out on a daily basis, for example filing for results on maternity reception and CAS cards on A&E reception.
- Respond to all enquiries either on telephone or face-to-face in a positive, tactful and helpful manner giving advice where necessary.

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
