We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to provide comprehensive outpatient appointment management service to the Countess of Chester Hospital, as directed by the Team Leaders. Please read the Job description attached for information Key Responsibilities Answering a high volume of incoming calls via the Appointments Hotline. Making appointments to appropriate clinics in line with the NHS "eReferral" programme, Consultants requests, departmental guidelines and the Trust's Access Policy. Providing a full outpatient reception service to the patients attending hospital To enter referrals on EPR+ and log all details accurately within given time-scales. To ensure the accuracy of data on the hospital information system (EPR+) and timely production of statistics and information relating to a patients appointment. To be responsible for requesting and collecting case notes as necessary for short notice clinic appointments To administer any changes relating to clinics ensuring current targets are still achieved and monitor clinic capacity using the hospital computer system ensuring all slots are utilised and clinics do not exceed prescribed numbers. To send appointment details and relevant correspondence to patients. To deal with enquiries from patients, wards, GP’s and other departments The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital. The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services. The Trust serves the whole of the local population currently in excess of 250,000 residents which geographically covers populations in England and North Wales.
