First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Neighbourhood Care Apprentice to join our friendly Neighbourhood Care team for a period of 24 months whilst working towards gaining your Level 2 in Horticulture qualification. You will be paid at National Minimum Wage for your age.

This role will support various functions within the Neighbourhood Care team which include grounds maintenance, caretaking and the cleaning of our open spaces, communal areas and flats. This will be accomplished through work experience, internal training and development (both practical and vocational). The role offers hands-on training in the safe use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and specialist vehicles, including ride-on mowers and mechanical sweepers.

This role involves engaging with our customers, colleagues, and local services in a polite and professional manner while carrying out a wide range of supervised grounds and environmental maintenance tasks.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Minimum of a C/4 in Maths & English
- Has previous work experience or placement in a similar workplace environment or any work-related experience of over 1 month
