Financial Reporting Manager

**About the job**:
Consumer Additions have partnered with a company operating in the FMGC space in the UK that is looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure that timely and accurate financial information is provided to our key stakeholders,and just as important that we are deriving value from that information.
**Responsibilities**:
- Take ownership and management of the Group’s monthly consolidation process.
- Lead the Group’s monthly management accounts and associated reporting processes.
- Monitor and report on banking covenants in accordance with banking agreements.
- Manage the Group-wide statutory audit including dealing with technical accounting issues and production of statutory financial statements.
- Along with the Finance Director, take charge of the Corporation Tax procedure (Group). It entails ensuring that accurate data is collected from divisions, collaborating with advisors on tax computations, and assisting in the maintenance of a strong taxcontrol environment.
- Work alongside other members of the Group finance function to maintain a fit-for-purpose centralised treasury function.
- Assist the Financial Planning Manager to develop and enhance the financial control program.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified accountant.
- Previous experience of financial consolidations.
- Technically strong with experience in producing statutory financial statements.
- Good knowledge of Excel and financial systems.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret and challenge data.
- Understanding of cash flow and working capital.
- Willingness to ‘own’ and take personal responsibility for work.
- Desire to learn, develop and make improvements.
- Ability to manage priorities and own time.
- Personal robustness to challenge individuals at all levels of the business
