**Leisure Supervisor**

**Location**:Bournemouth

**Starting Salary**: £11.50ph - £12.50ph DOE

**Hours**:25 - 40 hours a week

Our client, a fun filled entertainment centre is looking for a vibrant, energetic Leisure Supervisor to support and manage the centre and the fantastic team they have.

**The Role of the Leisure Supervisor**:

- On occasion's open up and close venue/turning alarm system on and off
- Complete opening and closing health and safety checks of equipment/soft play/toilets etc
- Floating tills/ensuring credit card machines working
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner on arrival and explain rules and procedures/answering questions/queries/complaints and monitoring behaviour of general public to ensure 'family feel' is adhered too/and being aware of any members of the generalpublic who are not there to use the facilities
- Ensure correct and accurate use of till for purchases and correct records are kept for the venue and the that the customers have a valid receipt for their purchase and ensure correct cash handling and financial procedures adhered to and any mistakes areclearly noted
- Accurately, count the till float before and after use
- Serving of drinks from the bar and food if required
- Accept deliveries and store securely. Check items against the delivery note
- Ensure the area is safe, clean and warm before customers enter and everything is clean and tidy at the end of shift/close of business
- Undertake safety inspections and cleaning inspections throughout your working day
- Monitor arcade, provide refunds where necessary/advise supplier of any problems
- Report defective services, equipment and facilities
- Ensure other staff members are fulfilling their daily duties correctly and offer advice/assistance if needed
- Advise Manager of any issues regarding venue/maintenance/staff/stock requirements
- Ensure all doors are shut/all electrical items are switched off/alarm is set and door locked securely
- Looking after site keys responsibly

**Needed for the Role of the Leisure Supervisor**:

- Assist in the supervision of Leisure Venue ensuring general public behave in a responsible and respectful way and that children are playing safely and adhering to the Rules of Play
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- DBS required - Full Enhanced
- Monitor usage and assist children in distress
- Assist First Aid staff with accident management
- Help to conserve energy
- Work with your team members to complete the tasks and duties detailed above
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required
- Keep up to date with procedural changes and other activities going on at the centre
- To undertake additional responsibilities where appropriate and or/as requested by management
- Record compliments and complaints by following the QMS procedures.
- Previous experience of working with the general public/use of till/Bar/Food service
