**Financial Controller | Fast-Growth TV & Film Business | London**
Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing TV & Film company based in London.
**The Business**:
They are an award-winning production company involved in both the production and development of numerous successful TV & Film projects. Turnover has doubled from last year and now sits around £15m, with forecasts to increase turnover year on year. They workin a fantastic office space in a trendy part of London and the culture is one that has a real 'family-feel' to it.
Following recent investment from a major player in the industry, our client is looking to scale the business and are now looking for a Financial Controller/Head of Finance to run the finance function. This is the ideal opportunity for a senior finance professionalwith Media or Entertainment experience, who has the ambition and drive to scale a business.
**The Role**:
This is a new position which has arisen through growth, boosted by investment and a run of very successful shows. As the number one in finance, you will consolidate the management accounts and present them to the team. You will be working closely with theCOO and Senior Leadership team on all matters from managing the FP&A, preparing Board packs, to contributing to both the financial and commercial strategy.
Currently, one of the Directors is a qualified accountant and they use an external accountancy practice to support on Bookkeeping, management accounts and payment processing. This is a broad position which will cover the budgeting, forecasting and profitabilityanalysis with fantastic career progression opportunities. As the company continues to scale you will be responsible for building out and developing a team.
**The Duties**:
- Ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.
- Producing monthly management accounts and presenting to Senior Management
- Work with the COO to set a commercial and financial strategy for growth
- Leading on the Financial Planning & Analysis, including the budgeting & forecasting.
- Assist with the preparation of Board packs and other Management Information.
- Liaising with external accountants and monitoring the Productions.
- Ad-hoc duties
**What we need to see (essential)**:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
- Experience in the creative industries (Entertainment, Media, Marketing/Advertising, TV, Film or Music)
- Strong communication skills.
**What we'd like to see (bonus)**:
- Experience working in a Finance role in the TV or Film industry
**Salary**: £70,000 - £80,000
