Junior Python Developer

Avanti has partnered with an exciting Software company that creates gaming servers that allow their clients to build what they want, how they want it. They are looking for a Junior Python Developer that is excited about everything Python, to join their teamand progress with the backing of an experienced team.

The company have been going for almost ten years and was created by a Techy for Techies. They have been going from strength to strength adding 4 developers to the team last year, with some progressing within the company after 6 months. They love Juniorsto come in and get stuck in and make a big difference in a small company. You will be working on a number of their main products including core developments, APIs, extensions and game engines. They like to find an area that you’re most interested in and giveyou the responsibility to handle that.

They use Python and Pyramid as their framework and follow TDD with peer reviews and Continuous Integration, they also work to Basecamps Shape up Methodology, working in 6-week projects with 1 week for personal development.

In this role, you will be working with the team on a new product for one of their biggest clients, so you will be hitting the ground running and will get the opportunity to work on everything within the company’s tech learning more than a typical Juniorrole.

- Pyramid

- Continuous Integration
- SQL

On offer is a basic salary up to £40k, 5% match pension scheme, 25 daysholidays plus Bank Holidays, fully remote-working or hybrid working (depending on what suits you), plus 1 week in six non-project work for training and self-development.
