The urgent community response and virtual wards team provide clinical support and care for patients in their own home. The aim of the team is prevent admissions to hospital and support earlier hospital discharge for patient who no longer require acute hospital care. The virtual wards in a new initiative for East Sussex Healthcare Trust which supports patients who would usually have care in hospital in their own homes using remote monitoring with clinical support.

We are looking for someone who is organised, a good team worker and with excellent IT skills to provide administration support. It is an exciting time to be part of a team at the forefront of healthcare with opportunities to support change and develop new processes.

The role would involve working across different systems such as healthroster (rota management), people safe (lone working devices), integra (equipment ordering) as well as others. There will be opportunities to be involved in recruitment and induction of new staff to ensure a smooth and efficient process. There will be times when there will be conflicting demands on your time so you will need to be able to prioritise and be flexible. Good communication skills both in written and verbal are going to be key.
