**IT Account Manager**

**Job Specification: Account Manager**

A successful, well-established IT and Support Services company, based in Redhill, Surrey seek an ambitious account manager.

**They are looking for**:
An account manager who is a self-starter with enthusiasm for technology, who understands the importance of each client journey and can provide ongoing excellence in customer service. You will be required to work effectively as part of a team and take ownershipof your work.

Theirr approach to account management is very consultative, focusing on fostering long term relationships with their clients rather than hard selling. Quality, long lasting relationships provide more value to both the client and them.

**What you’ll be doing**:
Working alongside their Account Director, you will become a dedicated Account Manager responsible for your own clients, which will involve:
**Relationship Management**
- Establishing and nurturing long term relationships with client contacts
- Acting as a point of escalation for business-critical issues, ensuring the client is kept up to date and working to manage expectations
- Completing regular Service Reviews for each of their clients, following due process to ensure they are delivered successfully and on time
- Attending on-site client meetings as required
- Maintaining their high client retention rate and giving clients the confidence to refer them onwards

**Sales Pipeline Management**
- Qualifying leads from existing clients and asking great questions to capture their requirements
- Collaborating with their technical teams to identify and spec the right solutions
- Producing quotes for additional products and/or services as required by the client
- Ensuring all opportunities and quotes are recorded in their CRM and are kept up to date
- Following up on all opportunities in your pipeline to improve conversion timeframes
- Ensuring all won opportunities are successfully handed over to their Projects team for delivery

**Client Development**
- Developing business profitability within each client
- Developing core product and solution knowledge, so you can clearly articulate their key selling points and benefits when talking to clients
- Taking a pro-active approach to gain and maintain a good understanding of a client’s business
- Taking the initiative to stay on top of new developments within the industry

This list represents your main duties, and it may be added to or amended as directed by your line manager and the company Directors.

You will have the full support of a very strong technical team at your disposal.

You will also hold a full UK driving licence for the purposes of attending client meetings.

**Your Experience**

**Essential**

Previous experience in a customer facing role

Previous experience with an IT Managed Service Provider or technology-based company

Experience with CRM software[VS1]

Previous Account Management experience
