Kenneth Brian Associates are proud to be working with an exciting and established brand in the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.

Our client, are seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their Accounts team on a temporary basis for six months. The successful individual will be able to meet the expected demands of the business, provide a high quality service to the business and willbe immediately available or on a short notice period.

As the Accounts Payable Manager, your job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Managing a team, conducting all training and appraisals across the team
- Improving the internal control environment through the implementation and monitoring of standard procedures across the team.
- Implementation of new systems
- Maintaining and building positive relationships with key stakeholders
- Maintain the purchase ledger function, ensuring all invoices are processed and payments are made in a timely manner
- Ensuring that supplier statements are reconciled monthly
- Reporting processes for purchase ledge and staff expenses function in order to assure efficiency
- Reporting meaningful metrics to the Director of Financial Control to help monitor team performance
- Staying alert to any changes in financial regulations and legalisations

**AP Manager Job Criteria**
- Previous experience managing and developing a successful team.
- Experience of system implementation
- AAT or ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified in highly advantageous
- Experience in managing in a multi-site organisation
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in implementing new systems
- A well driven personality with a positive approach
- Ability to have effective stakeholder communication.
