**Introduction**:
Nigel Wright has been retained to lead the search for an experienced Digital Transformation Manager for a fast growing, privately owned infrastructure civil engineering contractor.The company is headquartered in West London, with operations on major infrastructureprojects right across the UK. Reporting into the COO, this role will be critical in supporting their next growth phase by providing automation, integration and digitisation of systems and process.
This role offers a blended opportunity of sourcing entirely new systems as well as improving and integrating existing ones. These are high impact projects on business critical platforms, where changes will improve performance and experience for both internalstaff and customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivery lead on digital transformation projects including management of:

- Requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Process improvement
- Project deliverables
- Software procurement
- System testing and implementation including post-implementation support and performance analysis
- Develop clear understanding of the overall business operating structures and identify areas for improvement. This will include identifying and overseeing implementation of software/systems that:

- Improve processes
- Reduce manual administration
- Speed up and automate activities
- Encourage self service
- Maintain compliance and governance
- Improve the quality and accessibility of real time management information to drive decision making
- Fit in within the overall IT infrastructure
- Act as project manager for each of the projects, building and supporting the right project team and helping them to understand their role and the project goals including key timescales, supporting key communications and ensuring culture and behaviours aremaintained.
- Maintain high quality, clear and concise project documentation.
- Prepare and implement a digital strategy road map to ensure a process of ongoing continuous improvement and innovation

Current inflight projects include:

- Timesheet system
- Recruitment database
- Project management software
- Site management system
- Data analytics utilising PowerBI

- Proven experience in leading digital transformation projects, either within a management consultancy or an in-house role
- Preferable experience in projects that have supported digitalisation in high volume recruitment and finance systems
- A positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude.
- A desire to deliver change as well as supporting internal teams in adopting change
- High problem-solving ability with an innovative approach to solutions.
- The ability to lead and manage teams from diverse functions and backgrounds collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills, with experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
