**About the role**

The Product Designer is responsible for the creation of a compelling product that our customers love. We are seeking an individual with a passion for finding solutions that allow customers to intuitively use our products, ideally skilled at each stage of the design process but always focussed on the needs of the customer.

The role will work closely with other product designers, the wider UX, product and development teams to ensure a cohesive experience across our platforms. As a product designer, you will have the ability to communicate effectively through storytelling and visuals for multiple audiences, including developers and our customers. You also have the drive to learn and adapt to new ways of working in our fast-growing business.

**The person we’re looking for**

We are looking for a pro-active, collaborative product designer who has experience working within a UX and Design team to find elegant solutions to the challenges presented by our customers and the product team.

**You’ll be responsible for**
- Working alongside our product owners/ business analysts and other product designers to create groundbreaking digital solutions
- Designing new features and optimisations for our products and internal tools via user stories, user journeys, flow diagrams, information architecture, mockups and high fidelity prototypes optimised for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Creating on brand creative assets and graphics for our partner implementations
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions - championing best practice
- Translating UX/UI research into actionable design solutions
- Taking ownership of any UX/UI task to guide its evolution and optimisation
- Developing ideas that improve user engagement and have a positive impact upon Product KPIs
- Championing a user-centred design and evidence
- based approach using the psychology principles to rapidly test and iterate ideas and designs
- Working with developers to ensure feasibility of design solutions
- Planning, creating and facilitating UX workshops
- Working closely with our data team and customer success team to ensure design decisions are based on truthful data and needs

**Skills and experience**
- 3+ years of UX/UI Design Experience
- Detailed knowledge of creating wireframe prototypes and component libraries
- Has demonstratable experience of working in an agile environment
- Has demonstrable experience of working within a cross functional team to identify solutions to design problems
- A proactive, driven mentality and a desire to continuously improve process
- Able to communicate design decisions to non-technical audiences
- Solid knowledge of key design software such as Figma and Sketch
- Experience using Figma Tokens and Documentation tooling Zeroheight or Supernova is also a bonus
