Head of Global Supply Chain Systems

This role leads Supply Chain Systems, comprising strategic and operational responsibility for Supply Chain functional processes and technology.

The role holder is responsible for the management and development of end-to-end supply chain business processes, including SAP.

The role has sole responsibility for the Seqirus Serialisation programme; operational execution; technology assets and ongoing projects to support regulatory changes and business opportunities.

The role also leads Data & Analytics for the entire global Supply Chain organisation, providing a centre of excellence and building analytical capability for the wider business.

Responsibilities include:
- Define, establish, and maintain the SC System team required to deliver Seqirus business objectives. Organizational structure, responsibility, scope, and interactions with key stakeholders.
- Accountable for the end-to-end Serialisation process. Ensure day-to-day operations, campaign readiness activities, projects and programs are adequately supported and successfully executed. Define, scope, and implement projects to maintain class leading compliance and efficiency
- Supply Chain and Manufacturing Business Process Owner responsibility for Seqirus’ ERP system, SAP. Own and lead the global business governance processes for SAP and related systems. Establish a network support structure across local regions to ensure appropriate SAP knowledge and support for business execution. Responsible for developing and maintaining a wider systems architecture for Seqirus operations.
- Define, develop, and implement business process improvements to maximize the efficiency, security, quality, and cost effectiveness of the supply chain. Employ policies, procedures and standards to document and sustain improvements
- Establish and execute a strategy for Data and Analytics roll out in Supply Chain, leveraging this platform for broader analytical capabilities across the Seqirus enterprise.
- Identify and lead key strategic initiatives for Supply Chain.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or higher and/or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a regulated science or pharmaceutical/biotech environment
- Advanced degree (i.e., MBA) is preferred
- 8+ years advanced manufacturing experience involving supply chain and including management/supervising technical specialists
- Demonstrated knowledge of pharmaceutical / biological manufacturing, regulatory standards, and environments
- In depth knowledge supplying pharmaceutical products to market with problem solving and expediting in a pharmaceutical / biotech environment
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of managing complex processes
- In-depth demonstrable evidence of leading cross-functional teams towards a critical common goal
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Agile mindset with demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- External industry understanding of future state
- Interpersonal Savvy. The ability to engage with multiple functions across multiple levels and develop strong relationships.
- Strong technical understanding of Supply Chain processes and systems, with demonstrated knowledge of SAP and cGMP requirements.
- Key influencing skills to be able to drive performance across the matrix, and within a regulated environment.
- Strategic thinking backed up with operational and financial diligence
