Summary

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking an experienced TA to join a strong team of TAs who support pupils in class and teach small groups. You will be part of a strong team who are passionate about securing the best education for our young people.
As a teaching assistant, you can make a huge difference to a pupil’s journey through school and life beyond. The right experience is desirable but the right personality and attitude is essential.

The TA3 role is 36hrs per week, over 5 days, term time only. This is a permanent role.
This position is part time, term time only; please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Essential Qualifications
- Basic computer skills
- NVQ level 3 or above qualification
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Essential Experience
- Recent experience in a school setting is essential, ideally special experience or mainstream with a strong desire to expand experience into SEMH.
Experience of adapting teaching to meet pupil needs.
Desirable Experience
- A proven track record of successfully working with young people with challenging behaviour. The ability to offer skills and expertise to support the social and emotional development of our pupils would be an advantage.
- TEAMTEACH qualifications would be an advantage, willingness to train is essential.
Basic computer skills are essential and knowledge of SIMs or CPOMS an advantage.
