Here at** Langdons**,**we have**an amazing opportunity for a** Stock Controller**to join the team based in **Motherwell.**You will be working on a **full time, permanent** basis, working **Monday to Friday (09:00-18:00)**and in return, you will receive a **highly** **competitive salary of £27,138.80 per annum plus excellent company benefits**

**The Stock Controller role**:
To work in partnership with transport and warehouse colleagues to ensure that incoming and outgoing deliveries are handled and stored correctly and that all relevant records are created and maintained.

**What you’ll be doing as our Stock Controller**:

- Act as key point of contact for despatch and receipt of customer goods, ensuring all products are quality checked, labelled and stored/picked correctly.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is in place for the storage and distribution of goods and company systems are updated
- Respond to customer queries, ensuring any discrepancies are recorded, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Update relevant records and briefs colleagues on stock movement progress, taking action in consultation with management staff to ensure service standards are consistently met
- Conducts regular and ad hoc stock checks, escalating any issues to management in a timely manner so that appropriate action can be taken.
- Advises and guides other colleagues where required to ensure all working procedures and processes are complied with

**What qualifications and experience are we looking for in our Stock Controller?**
- IT literate in Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data

**What skills are we looking for in our Stock Controller?**
- Ability to use initiative and to be so organised that key tasks can be completed fully and on time.
- Ability to work to fluid targets and deadlines
- High attention to detail and confident to challenge discrepancies
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
