**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Accepting deliveries - signing paperwork
- Unloading deliveries (use of Counterbalance FLT)
- Booking in deliveries onto stock control system, matching items to delivery notes and keeping purchasing informed of any issues.
- Checking quality of items delivered and reporting damaged, faulty or missing items to suppliers and/or the purchasing team.
- Putting away deliveries.
- Picking kits of parts.
- Issuing parts to shop floor.
- Stock taking.
- Day to day stock taking area management - keeping area tidy making note of shortage, correctly labelling stock.
- Packing and despatching of items to customers
- Restocking workshop picking shelves

**experience, knowledge & skills**:
**Essential**
- Experience within a similar stores or warehouse environment
- Computer Literate - proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proven ability to work from own initiative.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Hard working and motivated.
- Enthusiasm for stock control and organization.
- Forklift Licence (Counterbalance)
- Health and Safety Awareness

The hours are Monday to Thursday - 40 Hours per week.

**Salary**: From £10.71 per hour
