The Queens Hotel, York are looking to recruit a Restaurant Supervisor who offers great customer service, reliability and a desire to work.

This role would suit someone who already has restaurant experience is looking to take the next step within a Hotel restaurant environment. We are looking for someone who would be an active part of the service team working predominantly evening shifts with the occasional breakfast shift where needed.

Some bar experience is advantageous as cover of the bar is often part of the shift.

You will be asked to work with the team to offer a consistent service to our guests, mentoring and training new team members and taking the lead within the shift.

Part of the role will be to ensure cleaning and restocking duties are maintained.

You will need to able to communicate with the kitchen team regarding service demands as well as helping with diary planning and table layouts for the coach groups dining requirements.

Our restaurant is 54 cover offering breakfast and dinner service.

Service times: 7.00am-10.30am and 5pm - 8.30pm

Approx 35 hours per week.

**Salary**: From £10.25 per hour
