**Senior Management Accountant**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing financial activities for the group
- Accurate production of monthly and annual management accounts
- Timely and accurate reporting of cash flow and forecast cash position of the companies, including the procurement of foreign currencies
- Monthly accounting of operating expenses, including accruals, prepayments, fixed asset depreciation and intercompany charges to provide real time reporting.
- Preparation of audit schedules of annual audits and company financial statutory requirements
- Analysis and production of data for reporting purposes
- Review Intercompany activity and reconcile in the active Group Companies.
- VAT report checking, reporting for National Statistics and other ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Review and documentation of existing financial controls in the business, identifying opportunities for improvements to maximise efficiency and accuracy and reduce risk.
- Ensuring that risk and compliance requirements are met (e.g., GDPR, ISO, BCP)

**Skills, experience and values ;**
- A Qualified Accountant (or P/Q finalist) (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW) or equivalent
- Proven experience of using accounting systems ideally within SaaS
- Passionate about doing a good job and keen to be part of a fast growing organisation and its future success
- Experience of managing compliance, reporting requirements & VAT returns
- Excellent planning, organisational and analysis skills
- Commercially astute - You’ll be an excellent communicator, confident & articulate, with good interpersonal skills
- Able to Work with and influence people at all levels in the business
- Track record and reputation for integrity, confidentiality, accountability and results
- Shared values of trust, integrity, flexible and team orientated

**Location**:

- Head office is based in Bedford - however, the company offer a very flexible, hybrid working environment.The work that you do will be mostly online, so you can work from home if preferred, but with occasional requirements to join theoffice for team activities, training, or events, typically no more than 1 or 2 times per month.
