A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a **Quality Assurance Manager** to join our client who are a leading international infrastructure group, with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructure investments. Where they create infrastructure; support communities and enable growth. You would be workingon a major construction project based in Smethwick.

**Daily duties of Quality Assurance Manager will include but are not limited to**:

- Review and approve project quality related contract submittals
- Collaborate internally on program standardization directives
- Ensure quality risk assessments are carried out at the early stages of development
- Plan Mechanical and Electrical project quality controls
- Communicate project specific quality requirements to all departments
- Support the benchmark and mock-up process of M&E installations
- Ensure programs are successfully implemented on assigned projects
- Produce development specific inspection test plans with the project team as guidance for contractors
- Ensure that the project and design teams are in full alignment with regards to quality & ISO documentation
- Implement and manage all phases of quality control
- Ensure that everyone follows the quality plan
- Report to Senior Management on quality related performance including suggested improvements on a monthly basis
- Manage all project inspection and quality control activities
- Visit London based projects for QA / QC progress
- Resolve quality non-conformances
- Review and approve all project quality system records
- Manage corrective actions until resolved
- Liaise with Aftercare, Design and Ops departments to ensure that lessons learned are used to continually improve the Quality of our delivery
- Conduct final quality inspections of projects before they are handed over to the Client, and put into place any remedial action required prior to handover

**The ideal Quality Assurance Manager will have knowledge of**:

- Minimum SMSTS in Health and Safety
- Finishing QA process must be of the highest standard (Hospital /medical finishing experience a Advantage)
- Experience of working on commercial and residential
- projects
- Computer competence (MS Word, Excel)
- Highly organized and clear communicator
- Previous experience in quality system implementation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems is desired
