**The Person**:
We are looking for high energy, detail-oriented staff members to work to high quality standards, in a fast paced food safe, manufacturing environment. You will have great communication and organisation skills to support and enhance our Quality Systems within the day-to-day operations of our production facility based in Smethwick, B66 1BZ.

As our Quality Inspector, you will work directly within our Production team and supported by our Quality Team to carry out regular audits and ensure all records are kept up to date to maintain standards across the production line. You would also be detail-oriented and have strong experience in a Quality role and an understanding of production processes and equipment.

You should have a practical and conscientious approach to work. The environment is very fast paced, labour intensive and can be time critical, as we look to ensure delivery on time and in full to supply product for our new manufacturing line, whilst maintaining high levels of quality. You will be reliable and have a flexible style of work in order to achieve production objectives.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous quality control experience is essential
- Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
- Experience working in the food industry is highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and precise record keeping abilities
- Understanding of FSSC 22000 & BRC
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to prioritise and make decision

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all quality checks are conducted as per the QMS
- Performing routine quality checks to maintain quality standards across the business
- Assisting in investigations of complaints and non-conformances
- Ensuring traceability and records are completed accurately in production
- Monitoring and verifying that site activities are in accordance with applicable standards
- Compiling and completing all quality control documentation
- Filing and maintaining quality documentation
- Reinforcing safety standards across the business
- Organising and maintaining retained samples

**Package**:

- Job Type: Full Time
- 28 days Paid leave per annum increasing based on length of service
- Full Comp Health & Dental Cover (after successful completion of the probation period)

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
