We at Go North East are the North East’s largest bus company and for over a century have been transporting people across the region. Overall, we have nearly 1500 employees and operate a fleet of over 500 vehicles.

**Key Accountabilities**

Reporting to the Training department at the Gateshead Riverside Depot. Join our Training Department at Gateshead Riverside Depot to deliver both classroom-based and on-road driver training to new and existing employees. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Conducting Driver Theory Training
- Delivering Driver CPC Courses, including Disability & Customer Care
- Providing new driver on-road practical tuition to DVSA standards
- Performing Occupational Health Driver Assessments
- Conducting Driving Standards Checks and Driver Development Courses for existing employees

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a proven track record ideally within the Driver Training Industry or within the Education & Training environment. They should also be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of The Highway Code and other driver knowledge and legislation. Additionally, they must have proven customer care skills and must also be able to motivate trainees through exceptional communications skills. A flexible outlook is essential to reflect the changing needs within the Company and the Driver Training Industry.
