**Contract Co-ordinator**

Perm Placements Client is the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of precast concrete solutions.

Our client offers an extensive range of quality precast concrete solutions that include drainage and water management, tunnels and shafts, rail, power and infrastructure, walling, fencing, agricultural, flooring, filter bed systems, bespoke precast, tanks and chambers, dock leveller pit systems, box culverts, building products and architectural & structural products.

Our client employs around 1,600 people, making them the largest precast concrete manufacturers in the United Kingdom.

**_The Role: _**

Co-ordinating the installation of various precast products across a number of sites. This will involve taking off bespoke and standard precast concrete products and converting them into a sequence delivery for installation.

Familiarise themselves with our products with a view to understanding what products are produced at each of the company’s sites.

Learn to understand all other aspects of the company’s operations by participating in company assigned training or projects.

To read architects plans in conjunction with the clients General Arrangement and detail drawings.

Build transport loads to the relevant regulations.

Sequencing of installation and creation of delivery call off’s (delivery tickets)

Coordinate plant, equipment and loose items which will involve coordinating with suppliers.

Purchase orders requisition in line with budgets set.

Plan internal labour resources and external labour workloads where changes occur.

Cost Management; allocating and controlling project costs.

Ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company.

Carry out other reasonable requests made by the line manager to support departmental or company objectives.

Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with.

Observe and comply with all good working practices.

Hours of work 08.30 - 17.00 Monday to Friday.

**Essential Criteria**

GCSE English, Maths and ICT equivalent to Grade 4 or above

Adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel packages

Have a proactive approach

Have a willingness to learn

Methodical approach to solving queries

Good time management skills

Ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team

Excellent communication skills

Ability to interact with a wide range of people

Ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently

Be highly motivated with a desire to succeed

Valid driving licence

The individual needs to have their own vehicle because as they progress within the role there will be a need to get to various sites within the UK.

**Desirable Criteri**a:
Have some Experience in Co-ordination roles.

Have some experience in the Logistics / Construction / Manufacturing industries.
