**The Role**

A fantastic opportunity to join one of our clients most successful London Insurance Broking teams to learn and develop a career within insurance brokerage and placement.

You will be joining the team at an exciting time, as they look to grow and expand their business opportunities. Experience within the insurance market and preferably CPRI (Credit & Political Risk Insurance) is desirable. Applications are welcomed from thosewith experience within the Insurance Market, Financial Services, Banking, Syndications or Corporate Credit.

This is a new role created to work within a dynamic and high-achieving broking team to obtain and arrange insurance cover, predominantly for their largest existing clients.

The key responsibilities will be to:

- Understand and take enquiries from the client
- Approach insurers to negotiate and obtain quotes on behalf of our clients
- Draft and place policies of insurance
- PPL - electronic placement of policies
- Organisation of Information packs for new placements
- Assist with account servicing and renewals
- Undertake and monitor the placement of business through its entire cycle
- Collect, prepare and processes data required to maintain and service accounts
- Assist with reporting and internal protocols
- Support the team as opportunities arise

**Skills and Experience**
- A graduate with a suitable degree (Political or Financial)
- This position will suit someone who is able to build positive working relationships, as there will be a high degree of contact with insurers and clients;
- A well-organised individual who is analytical, diligent and keen to acquire new skills and knowledge.

The position will require the applicant to undertake further study and achieve their ACII qualification, which will be fully supported by the Company.
