RMS have an exciting opportunity for a **Production Supervisor **for Stiller Warehousing & Distribution Ltd., well known across the region for providing excellent service to their clients.

As the Production Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to support operational delivery for all contractual performance. Through utilisation of lean techniques, you will strive to support the company in exceeding targets in manufacturing, driving productivity, assembly efficiency, and quality.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities will include**:

- Motivate the team to create a high-performance culture, where continuous improvement is embraced.
- To ensure the mechanical operation of any equipment used in the assembly process.
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the production process.
- Ensuring safe use of equipment and 5s practices through leadership and process.
- Develop and promote Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
- Train and develop staff by designing and implementing a solid training matrix.
- Maintaining accurate training records, identifying ways to up skill and promote best practice from within.
- A people focused individual who can support staff throughout their employment.
- 2 years’ experience working within a lean operational environment, in a leadership capacity.
- Understanding of the requirements of coordinating high supply and demand assembly, in quality driven environments.
- Proven experience achieving results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives through leadership.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience and a flexible approach.
- Demonstrated knowledge of people practices (employee relations absence and performance management)
- Quality focused, with abilities to maximise efficiency.
- High level of numerical and analytical ability.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to establish logical practical solutions.
- Health and Safety aware, with a prevent and prevail mentality.

This is a leadership role, responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operational activity associated to manufacturing assembly and packing functions, through an ethical methodology to ensure delivery of the key performance indicators within a safe, and quality focused environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
