Sports Coach

This is an amazing opportunity for a Primary PE Sports Coach to join a specialist team of staff on a full-time basis to deliver our award-winning sports PE programs and OFSTED registered holiday camps.

Due to Planet Education’s continued growth and success, we are now recruiting Sports Coaches to join our team. We offer flexible working hours - casual/flexible part-time to full-time, in an environment with progression potential and freedom to share your thoughts and ideas in order for us to continually improve and adapt.

**You will be responsible for the following**:

- Delivering fun and structured PE lessons within primary schools, this will also include extra-curricular activities.
- Planning PE sessions to a high standard to meet the needs of all children
- Effective teaching and behaviour management strategies during your lessons
- Manage our Planet Active clubs during school holidays
- Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all

**To be considered for this position you will need to have the following**:

- PESS Level 5 and/or PESS Level 3, Coaching Degree or a Level 2 in a specific sport o
- Enhanced DBS dated within the last 2 years
- First Aid Certificate and Safeguarding Children (we can assist with these if you do not currently hold them)
- 1st4Sport Multi-Skills Level 2 Development in Sport (Desirable)
- Experience working in a school/coaching environment
- Have access to your own transport

**Job Title**: Sports Coach & Mentor

**Start date**: ASAP

**Location**:The role will be delivering in schools in and around Bournemouth. Please be aware that travel is required within reason (with some travel expenses included)

**Salary**:£17,000 - £21,000 - Rate of pay is dependent on age, experience and qualifications (Please note this is based on an individual working full-time hours)

**Working Hours**:37.5 hours of delivery per week Monday-Friday (with some occasional weekends depending on the needs of the business)
