An extremely successful, global IT & Technology enterprise based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a Reconciliations Controller to join their vibrant finance function on a permanent basis. The role has become available due to continued growth ofthe organisation and they are now looking for a dynamic Reconciliations/Accounts Assistant to add to their team.

As the Reconciliations Controller, you will sit within a strong team and will be responsible for a multitude of transactional Finance tasks relating to core reconciliations as well as some month-end responsibilities

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Complete account and journalpostings including substantiation of profit and loss entries.
- Investigation: responsibility for identifying and reporting payment issues
- Identifying and implementing process efficiencies and improvements
- Core reconciliation of accounts
- Allocating payments
- Query resolution and escalations
- Month end accounts
- Journal posting
- Liaising with internal/external stakeholders
- Ad hoc finance projects

**Key Skills Required**:

- Experience with previous reconciliation work is essential
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience managing large sets of data is an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Ability to work within a team or autonomously
