Bridges is the commissioned Domestic Abuse Service for Tameside. The Safe Accommodation Team is a new extension of Bridges, compromising of a team leader, three keyworkers and a part time children’s worker.

**Role Information**:
This role is for someone with experience in offering emotional and practical support to children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse.
You will work with and support children of all ages, who are living in temporary accommodation with their family, to provide one to one emotional support, play sessions, school support and parenting support.
The children may be experiencing behavioural or emotional difficulties as a result so you will need to be caring and compassionate, recognising the needs and concerns of a diverse range of survivors.
You will keep accurate and confidential case management records and databases and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
**This position is 17 hours per week, Monday to Friday.**
**Please also note, this position is fixed term for 12 months.**
