Formerly DCM, ICC and part of APU, our service portfolio combines the best diary booking system for fleet, demonstrator and courtesy cars with in-car cameras, telemetry and tracking devices, so you can manage every aspect of your vehicles.
**Role description**
As a Software Developer, you will deliver innovative and high performance solutions in an IOT environment as part of a highly skilled self-organising agile team helping the business as it transitions its fleet to more sustainable electric vehicles and helpingthe development team create more resilient solutions and analytics to inform the business and future product offerings
**Your key accountabilities will include**:

- Deliver high quality testable code
- Follow the team’s coding standards and development principles
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to design and develop innovative solutions to challenging IOT problems
- Work within a fast paced agile environment
- Invest in your knowledge portfolio to gain Microsoft certification in the latest web or Azure technologies to maintain our partner status. We are happy to give our developers time to study and also to pay for the exams and training materials.
- Proactively recommend improvements to existing software solutions

**What you need to be a Software Developerat AX**:
An understanding of SOLID and agile principle together with a commitment to delivering robust testable solutions that are resilient to the complexity and challenges of a high volume IOT environment
Experience With:

- .NET/.NET Core framework using C#
- Microsoft Azure environment
- DevOps/Jira and git flow
- Event driven architecture
- Any Asynchronous Messaging infrastructure (desirable)
- JavaScript frameworks such as React or angular
- Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL
- NoSQL databases and large datasets (desirable)
