Blade Traffic Management are looking for trainee or experienced Traffic Management Operatives to join our growing business as we continue to expand.

We are looking for hard-working, flexible, and reliable individuals who can react to various traffic and pedestrian management issues that may arise.

This is a permanent role with a contract of 40-hours per week over 7 days. Traffic Management is a challenging but rewarding career choice, it can be physically demanding and involve working outside in all weather conditions, the average working week is around 50-60 hours and will involve working frequent weekends and nights.

**Your day-to-day duties will include the below plus more**:

- Installing, Maintaining or Removing various Traffic Management Schemes.
- Manually controlling Traffic Lights
- Towing single and twin axle trailers.
- Marshalling Pedestrians
- Driving to various locations through-out the UK.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
- Liaising with clients and highway authorities in a professional manner.
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings, and near misses.
- Helping and guiding new trainees.
- Be able to use a tablet to complete site packs - training provided.
- Heavy Lifting - Trackway & Multi-Mats

**Salary** - £10.00 - £13.00 per hour.

**Qualifications**
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
- Traffic Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Lantra M1/M2 (preferred)
- Lantra M5 (preferred)

**What we look for**
- Unit 2 or M1/M2 Qualifies as a minimum.
- Full UK Driving Licence. (no more than 6 points)
- Ability to tow single and twin axle trailers
- Flexible Working - MUST be available to work days, nights, weekends.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to pass a safety critical worker medical.
