Solutions offers investors access to the best of Man Group’s extensive investment platform. We combine our Systematic and Discretionary strategies to deliver clients a diverse array of alpha sources.

We draw on research and investment content from across Man Group to deliver multi-strategy products and bespoke portfolios. Our focus is on providing diversification, targeting uncorrelated returns, and managing risk dynamically.

We offer a deep engagement with clients, constructing bespoke portfolios of specialised exposures with risk and reward characteristics that meet their specific needs. But our notion of partnership is more than investing and portfolio implementation. It encompasses advisory, platform services, training, and knowledge sharing.

From data analytics and portfolio construction to risk management, we take advantage of Man Group’s institutional technology and infrastructure to enhance our processes. We leverage scale and trading expertise alongside deep counterparty relationships to maximise efficiency.

What we are looking for:

- Essential_
- A broad understanding of systematic and discretionary alternative investment strategies with an emphasis on hedge fund strategies and liquid alternatives.
- Deep knowledge of the competitor landscape within the industry and relevant product offerings.
- Experience managing institutional client relationships and requirements related to the sales process.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a wide range of senior stakeholders.
- High standards of client communications with the ability to produce engaging written marketing content and performance commentary independently.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies to lead product development initiatives.
- Actively looks for opportunities to maximise market intelligence and understand client needs to influence product development, marketing and sales strategies to optimize our market position.

- Experience with private market strategies and solutions offerings.
- Experience working with Risk Premia strategies.
- Technical_
- Strong understanding of financial products, quantitative analytic concepts and portfolio modelling techniques.
- Ability to understand and critique complex investment strategies and then translate them into simple messages for external clients, sales teams and potential investors.
- Familiarity using basic data querying tools to access performance and risk information on portfolios.

Core responsibilities:

- Coordinating questions from clients and stakeholders in a timely and effective way.
- To provide education and thought leadership to internal stakeholders and offer insights into Solutions capabilities.
- Creating marketing materials to support the Man Group sales teams engaging with new client prospects.
- Identifying prospects and generating leads in collaboration with the Man Group sales team.
- Building and managing relationships in collaboration with Man Group sales team with client and prospects.
- Monitoring performance of Solutions mandates and providing feedback to the investment team in order to shape product development priorities.
- Supporting the gathering of market and competitor information to influence the shape of the portfolios and marketing materials.
