**Role Overview - Product Engineer**

My client, a market leading manufacturer, are currently recruiting for a Product Engineer to join their facility based in Reading. The successful Product Engineer will be responsible for elements of the design and manufacturing process development for arange of electromechanical products. This fantastic opportunity would suit those with previous experience in design, manufacturing and/or NPI/NPD Engineering.

**Role Responsibilities - Product Engineer**
- Provide engineering solutions for new products alongside improvement for ongoing company projects
- Proactive involvement in the design phase, liaising with customers to understand requirements, recommending design improvements relating to both function and manufacturing.
- Introduction and improvement of relevant manufacturing processes for a range of new and existing electromechanical products.
- Design and development of relevant test fixtures for new and existing manufacturing processes
- Advise on a range of factors affecting quality, schedule and costing.
- Produce and maintain accurate manufacturing routings to allow efficient shop floor planning.

**Key Expertise - Product Engineer**
- Experience withing a similar Design and Manufacturing or NPI/NPD Engineering positions
- Experience working with electromechanical products
