By bringing together urgent care, clinical assessmentand primary care services and, NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. This is the perfect chance to use and develop all your skills and expertise as a **General Practitioner**, providing diagnosis, treatment, advice and referrals to other healthcare resources, **via primary care centres and home visits**.You will also use our **electronic prescribing system** to effectively manage the patient.
Based in our services across **Brighton**, you will be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as a **lead clinician** in a **multi-skilled team** that includes advanced nurse practitioners, registered nurses,UCPs, mental health and dental nurses, prescribing pharmacists and pharmacy advisors.
We are proud of our strong, stable infrastructure that ensures clinical safety and provides **senior-level clinical support throughout evenings, nights and weekends**. You’ll be able to keep your skills up to date with a CPD programme - and canexpect education and training tailored to your needs and future plans. We work closely with the NHS to provide opportunities to **learn, innovate and contribute new ideas**. In addition to our bespoke Learning Management System, we offer discountednational update/clinical topic refreshers, support to become a supervisor/GP registrar trainer, plus a host of **regional and national career development opportunities**.
The Centre is open 7 days per week between **8am and 8pm**. We have a mixture of Full and Part time position with a mixture of variable hours available.
We can offer this role as either **permanent, bank or self-employed.**
**What you will need**:

- **GMC registration** certificate and inclusion on the **GP Performers List** with a valid CCT.
- **Experience **to confidently** manage acute and chronic presentations** for both **adult **and paediatric patients, with a proven ability to maintain and monitor high standards of care.
- Excellent l**istening and communication** skills, with experience of **urgent care** assessment and good IT/keyboard skills.
