Head of Marketing

For many years they have developed, built and managed bespoke residential and commercial schemes for a range of blue-chip companies, central government departments and leading universities.
They have become a leading name in the world of purpose-built student accommodation and have upheld an excellent reputation for award-winning design and high-end quality, and now seek an experienced marketer to help drive further awareness and acquisition.
The role:
This role will have a focus on their student accommodation arm of the business, whilst also providing support to other divisions such as property management, construction & development. It also has an international element due to their presence overseas, whichmakes it more interesting and engaging, as well as honing your marketing prowess.

You will look after a small marketing team which is responsible for the brand’s entire marketing execution and will oversee a multi-channel approach, that aims to grow brand awareness. This will be in conjunction with overseeing a sales team, driving marketingand sales processes, utilising all available methods to ensure conversions are the best they can be. This will see you handle national and international sales and marketing efforts, utilising multiple methods to reach their student customer base and widercorporate audience.

Their level of success has been way ahead of the curve and this is a senior role, where you’ll work with their most senior leaders across the business to ensure they create and execute joined up marketing & sales plans to deliver commercial objectives. You’llsupport team members in the delivery of sales and marketing plans including branding, onsite marketing, brochure, lead generation, website management and events, as well as monitoring and analysing the performance of communications through their CRM systemand other digital platforms.
You’ll also help in driving positive sales behaviours and outcomes across the business, ensure processes and tools are in place to support these, review sales performance and adjust strategies, proposing bold measures where necessary. Maintaining strong relationshipswith international agents for their international customer base will also be important.

What we’re looking for:
A seasoned marketer with experience of dealing with senior stakeholders, running a team, and who enjoys getting stuck in, from idea to delivery. You’ll also need an analytical and collaborative approach as well as being an inspiring and collaborative peoplemanager, able to instil confidence in your team.

Your career will be structured and progressive, and your expertise will ideally have been gained in an in-house & agency environment, and sectors of interest include property, student accommodation, further education or lifestyle, which has an internationalreach.

It is also vital that you have experience of bringing new products to market, from the ground up, working closely with sales teams to achieve commercial objectives & have a solid understanding of the importance in driving ROI from marketing activity.
