This is an OUTSTANDING opportunity for a confident, experienced and driven Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager. This opportunity is based in Bedford working for an exciting company who are growing year on year. We require an experienced AccountsPayable and Accounts Receivable Manager who can come in and have an instant positive impact on the business.

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum *depending on experience

**Location**: Bedford

**Working Pattern**: Hybrid (3 days on site)
- Full accountability for purchase ledger administration from purchase order to payment of invoices (P2P)
- To prepare supplier statement reconciliations and obtain missing purchase invoices
- Dealing with queries on purchase invoices
- Preparation of fortnightly payment run for review by Financial Controller
- Preparation of monthly inter-group cash transfers
- Full accountability for sales ledger administration, including process of invoice production both on Wastemetrix and AiQ
- Full accountability for accounts receivable, including credit control and customer adherence to payment terms in conjunction with commercial and business development teams
- Sending out sales ledger statements on a monthly basis
- Prepare fortnightly debt reports and monthly bad debt reports to share within the Finance and Commercial teams
- Manage the online PO system 'Compleat' and ensure that all staff members have had adequate training in its use
- Work with external IT support to continue to improve Compleat and WMX and rectify any issues
- Collaborate with other teams within the business to ensure processes are being correctly followed
- Administering Petty Cash and Credit Cards
- Management of AR Assistant
- Management and development of AP Supervisor and AP Assistant

**Personal Skills and Attributes**:

- Excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of Sales and Purchase cycles
- Highly organised and methodical approach to work
- Good team player, but also a self-starter
- Good communication skills essential, comfortable in challenging at different levels of the organisation
