Iron City Motorcycles - KTM, ROYAL ENFIELD, is looking for an enthusiastic retail sales associate to join the team selling clothing, motorcycle clothes, helmets, accessories, parts and branded merchandise.

Our passion to provide the highest quality of customer service is key in everything we do and we now have an opportunity for a customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team at Iron City Motorcycles South Shields.
- Design displays for clothing and merchandise, which are appealing to customers. Make effective use of:

- Fixtures
- Your skill with visual merchandising (online training available)
- Wall Displays
- Mannequins
- Updating ecommerce store
- Adding regular Online social posts to promote the business
- Bringing products into stock, for both clothing, and workshop departments.
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for General Merchandise management, including generating and reviewing Inventory reports.
- Maximize return on investment of General Merchandise, accessories and parts inventory and grow the volume of sales.
- Introduce new products, styles and brands
- Look to build our brand within our allocated territory i.e. Social posts.
- Promote and upsell products to achieve the targets set by management.
- Provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers.
- Greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
- Point out any sales, specials, or new merchandise to staff and customers.
- Handle customer complaints reasonably, showing empathy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate our commitment to Superior Customer Service, referring customers who are still unsatisfied to managers.
- Responsible for web shop uploads of General Merchandise and stock management.

**Qualifications & Job Requirements**
- Experience with retail sales both online and in-store, visual merchandising, branding, and inventory management.
- Looking to progress to the next level
- A smart well turned out appearance.
- Motorcycle safety equipment knowledge is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale and Parts & Service management computer software or the ability to quickly learn due to general knowledge & experience with computers.

**Physical Demands**
- Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 10kg. of material

**Working Conditions**
- Normally indoors, however, some outdoor work is required during open houses or other events.
