**Join Our Team as a Kitchen Assistant**

Reporting to the Head Chef, as a Kitchen Assistant you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food to our residents. You will be an essential part of our catering team, ensuring our meals meet the highest standards of taste and nutrition.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Support Excellence**: Assist the Head Chef and catering team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.
- **Nutritional Care**: Ensure meals cater to the diverse dietary needs of all residents.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all regulatory, statutory, and company requirements.
- **Cleanliness**: Maintain cleaning schedules and ensure dining areas are spotless and well-stocked.
- **Training**: Attend mandatory Health and Safety, food hygiene, and COSHH training sessions.
- **Engagement**: Interact with residents, respecting their individual needs and dignity. Be responsive and supportive to those in distress.
- **Safety**: Ensure a safe and clean environment, following all Health and Safety guidelines. Be prepared to handle heavy objects as needed.
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Qualifications**: NVQ Level 2 in Food Hygiene (desirable but not essential).
- **Experience**: At least one year of catering experience, preferably in a kitchen environment.
- **Personal Qualities**: Reliability, adaptability, approachability, confidence, willingness to learn, enthusiasm, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 26 per week
