Senior Payroll Officer role available in Warrington. Fantastic opportunity if you want to progress long-term as you will join a growing, acquisitive business. It will lead to a path towards a Team Leader role long-term for the right person.

You will report to the Payroll Manager and your duties will include:

- Running end-to-end payroll processes for multiple payrolls weekly and monthly
- Gathering all information to enter into the payroll software
- Ensuring all information is entered accurately and key deadlines are met
- Processing RTI, EPS and FPS for HMRC, and auto-enrolment pensions
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Resolving complex pay queries
- Producing detailed payroll reports for management and operations
- Ensuring payroll workload is distributed evenly between the team
- Leading from the front with best practice processes

Skills and Experience Required:

- Experience working in a Senior Payroll Officer role
- Experience of supporting team members with complex query resolution
- Ideally studying towards CIPP
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, growing business
- Adaptable to change
- Highly numerate and accurate
- Diligent

As Senior Payroll Officer, you will have a great degree of autonomy and will be a key support to the Payroll Manager and the Payroll Officer's in the team. You will work in a busy, end-to-end payroll position which will give you wide variety in your role.Long-term you will have a pathway towards management as the company are growing organically and through acquisition, the current Payroll Manager joined the business in a Payroll Officer role proving that there is a great progressive opportunity. You will enjoyworking in modern offices, with free parking that is close to motorway networks. You will receive a competitive salary up to £30,000 per annum and benefits include: study support for CIPP, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, company pension, and healthcare.
