**Westwood Recruitment** are on the lookout for an **Inspector** to join our client based in Irvine on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join an excellent world-renowned company where progression is always encouraged

You will report to the Technical Manager where you will help solve quality as well as manufacturing related issues to enable work to be delivered on time while also helping maintaining and improving the efficiency of the business.

**Role Requirements**
- To help ensure quality standards are to BS EN ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards
- Provide hands on support to all areas of manufacturing whilst acting as a liaison between departments
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- To produce Non Conformance Reports (NCR’s) as required to help enable rectification or modification to components to be performed whilst allowing the associated cost to be identified
- To conduct component inspections when required, for first off operation, patrol inspection and final inspection to identify the meets to the necessary standard
- Assisting in supplying technical information to Production Control to enable Route Sheets to be changed/modified in line with company procedures
- Produce inspection reports during and after final machining
- To be able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications

**Company benefits**
- 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- 25 days holiday per annum, plus 9 set holidays (Pro rata in first year January to December)
