Senior Structural Engineer - Bristol | £40,000 - £50,000
Senior Structural Engineer interested in joining a leading name in the engineering industry?
We have an exciting Senior Structural Engineer position with an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. The successful Senior Structural Engineer will be working on a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial, health, education, and defence sectors.
You can expect to receive exposure to emerging technologies and new construction methods while working to make a difference through low-carbon building design. You'll have the responsibility and trust to lead projects, manage juniors, and deal with clients.
Requirements for this Senior Structural Engineer position include;
- BEng/MEng Civil or Structural Engineering degree
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Structural Engineer in a similar consultancy environment will be needed
- Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE would be preferred, or they can help you get there if you are progressing
- Structural design experience and structural analysis skills in all common structural materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Capable of working with the relevant engineering design software
- All the other usual communication and presentation skills will be important as you will be representing the company while directly liaising with clients and helping to grow the business.
The successful Senior Structural Engineer will be joining a diverse team that works from comfortable and accessible offices in Bristol. You can expect to receive comprehensive support and training in any areas where you are less experienced and will be workingalongside a talented team of Engineers, many of who have been in the business for a large portion of their careers
