We operate from our offices in Norwich, Cambridge and Chelmsford and act for Clients throughout the East, East Midlands, South East of England and Greater London area, providing Cost Management, Employer';s Agent and Project Management services for a wide spectrum of public, private and commercial clients. Contracts range in size from £50k to over £100m in value.

We are currently looking for a Defects Surveyor / Assistant Clerk of Works to work within the residential sector. You will take responsibility for identifying and managing the resolution of defects at the time of handover, and during and at the end of the defects liability period. The Defects Surveyor will cover the whole of the Eastern Region but will predominantly work within Essex and Cambridgeshire and will work closely with Project Surveyors, Contractors and Clients to identify defects, agree repairs and ensure remedial work is completed to standard. The Defect Surveyor will also support Oxbury';s in-house Clerk of Works.

You';ll need to hold a Surveying Technician or Building Surveying related qualification and ideally will be MRICS / MCIOB / MICWI qualified. You';ll be experienced at carrying out site and building inspections and will have an excellent knowledge of current Building Regulations, NHBC standards and tolerances, and other equivalent Building Warranties. You';ll have a high standard or written English and excellent attention to detail. If you are also confident with great communication skills and the ability to mediate and resolve disputes then you could be just who we are looking for
