A rare opportunity to move into a niche market sector for an experienced technical field sales person. Once you have established yourself as an Area Sales Manager you can expect your salary to rise as market rate in the packaging and process machinery sectoris considerably higher than the package on offer. You can expect full product and sales training initially and on an ongoing basis and you will be working for a Manager I have known for 20 years and who is one of the 'good guys'.

**BASIC SALARY**: up to £45,000

**LOCATION**: Home based & covering the North East of England (North & East of Derby)

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager - packaging and processing machinery, PPMA

A classic Area Sales Manager role managing existing accounts 75% and new business development 25% selling packaging & processing machinery mainly to the food industry.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Area Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager - packaging and processing machinery, PPMA
- You _**MUST**_ have a proven track record in field sales within the industrial / technical/ engineering sector ideally for a manufacturing company selling capital equipment, components or consumables
- Any experience of selling to the food industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Any engineering or technical qualifications would also be advantageous.
