An exciting opportunity has arisen for afull-time, permanent Band 6 Speech and Language Therapistworking in the North Oxfordshire Adult Learning Disability Team (Monday to Friday). Base negotiable between Abingdon, Cowley and Banbury with a countywide role. Due to the pandemic, this role will start as working from home.

This post would be suitable for a dysphagia qualified and experienced band 5 who is looking to develop their skills.

They will be providing assessment and intervention for adults with learning disabilities who have communication and/or dysphagia needs and should have completed accredited (or similar) post graduate dysphagia training and clinical experience. They will accountable for their own actions, recognizing their own professional boundaries and competencies and will have access to support and supervision from a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist.

The post holder will be a member of a specialist learning disability team, working with a small enthusiastic team of Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs), working alongside members of the multidisciplinary team.
