The Opportunity
We are seeking a warm, reflective, and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join our team for two days per week, with a strong likelihood that this will increase as our service continues to expand.
We are particularly interested in therapists based in Banbury or Lincolnshire, where our support and consultancy services are growing.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-led practice that encourages creativity, clinical autonomy, and meaningful connection.
The Role
As a Speech & Language Therapist at Onyx Therapy, you will:
- Provide neuroaffirming assessment, therapy, and consultancy aligned with Onyx Therapy's ethos
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other therapists
- Maintain clear, reflective, and strengths-focused documentation
- Engage in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing CPD
- Contribute to the development of innovative therapy programmes, communication resources, and training content
Person Specification
Essential:
- Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree
- HCPC registration
- Compassionate, reflective, and committed to neuroaffirming, inclusive practice
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organised and comfortable working flexibly across settings
- Alignment with Onyx Therapy's values and ethos
- Driving License with access to a car
Desirable:
- Experience supporting neurodivergent children, young people, or adults
- Knowledge of gestalt language processing, AAC, trauma-informed communication, or sensory-communication links
- Creative or digital resource-design skills
