The GPA manages a number of high-profile contracts, which has highlighted a need for additional contract management resource. As a result, we are looking to recruit both a Commercial Lead and an SEO in order to help us to improve the delivery of services for our clients and customers, maximise value for money, and build the capability of our colleagues
**Job description**:
- Manage the strategic relationship with suppliers and internal and external customers while building collaboration within and across organisational boundaries.
- Support the effective management of key contracts.
- Promote the GPA as an Intelligent Client in its management and delivery of supplier contracts.
- Ensure the consistent usage of appropriate tools, templates and polices.
- Build trusting and effective working relationships with a wide range of GPA colleagues and government wide stakeholders including Crown Commercial Service, Cabinet Office and strategic suppliers.
- Build contract management capability within our workforce and ensure all GPA colleagues have an appropriate level of skills required to do their role.
- Work with colleagues to enable GPA to meet its strategic objectives to promote growth, transform the Civil Service, contribute to Net Zero and deliver better value.
- Where required, support the implementation of Strategic Supplier Relationship Management with GPA Strategic Suppliers
- Develop business requirements and opportunities for contract and supplier management.
- Implement improved controls and practices, enhancing supply chain efficiency, value, and compliance.
- Improve financial savings, performance, quality, and deliverables.
- Set key metrics aligned with KPIs measuring supply chain risk and performance.

**Locations**
Your time spent on official duties at workplace locations other than your contractual office such as supplier, customer or partner locations required to perform your role is included in the 60% attendance.
