**About the role**

The People & Culture Partner is a strategic advisor within the People & Culture Team, responsible for aligning HR practices with business objectives to drive organisational success within Codestone.

The role involves collaborating with department leaders to foster a positive work environment, support employee relations, organisational development efforts, recruitment needs, integration activities linked to new business acquisitions, and providing mentoring and coaching across the business and within the People & Culture team.

Key skills for this role include strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, excellent communication, and a comprehensive understanding of HR best practices.

**Your day-to-day will include**:

- Partnering with department leaders to understand their business objectives and provide strategic HR support. This involves aligning HR strategies with business goals and ensuring effective implementation of HR initiatives.
- Managing employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans. This requires maintaining a fair and consistent approach to employee relations.
- Conducting organisational assessments and providing recommendations to improve team dynamics, productivity, and overall employee engagement. This involves analysing data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.- Implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. This involves regularly reviewing and updating policies to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
- Alongside the Head of Talent, facilitate training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge. This includes supporting the coordination with external providers and delivering in-house training sessions.
- Leading change management initiatives, helping to guide employees through organisational changes and ensuring smooth transitions. This involves developing communication plans and providing support to managers and employees.
- Taking ownership of integration activities linked to new business acquisitions, uniting the business through contractual and cultural measures. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition and alignment with company values.
- Alongside the Talent Acquisition Manager / Head of Talent, provide mentoring and coaching across the business to support employee development and growth. This includes guiding employees in their career paths and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensuring robust and effective consultation with colleagues based on business and/or contractual changes. This involves seeking input from relevant stakeholders and communicating changes effectively.
- Providing HR metrics and reports to senior management, using data to drive strategic decision-making and improve HR practices. This includes tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends.
- Promoting a positive organisational culture by supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement activities, and wellness programmes. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive work environment.
