**Data Science Consultant**

**Location - Oxfordshire (Flexible working options)**

Our client provides scientific software, data science and analytics services to clients within the Scientific and Engineering spectrum. As a consultancy practice they uphold a strong relationship with their clients offering various solutions to overcomedata science challenges.

**The role**:
As a Data Science consultant you will be responsible for understanding the companies capabilities and offer innovative and effective solutions to clients to overcome challenges across their business. This is achieved by developing strong relationships tofully understanding business needs to effectively propose successful approaches.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead clients in proposing real business solutions to challenges within Data Science and Analytics
- Truly understand business needs through effective questioning and challenging
- Qualify and propose analytics approaches, data science interpretation and AI opportunities
- Work internally with project delivery teams to provide ongoing guidance and solutions

**Suitable Applicants**:

- Proven track record in the data science and analytical domain, either within a consultancy or technical delivery
- Experience working with; stakeholder engagement & management, workshop facilitation and process modeling
- Ability to manage multiple project simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of hands-on software development, analytics and data science
- Educated to PhD level in a relevant Science, Engineering or Mathematics discipline or with equivalent level of relevant experience
