This is a Learning Support Assistant role set in a provision for SEMH and Autistic students, due start immediately. I would love to discuss this role with you and get a sense of your objectives, we will go through the role and discuss the context of theschool and their students.

Graduates wanted £78 per day, Monday to Friday, £390 PAYE before Tax and NI.

The LSA role is based in an alternative Provision for boys, aged 7-17, who will have been through trauma and all have very different contexts and lives at home, no one day in this role, will really ever be the same.

Can you make the student's life just that little bit better today, keep them safe and demonstrate the value of an education to the students?

Sincerity is a major key in this role, your objectives within youth advocacy and social justice could well come to the fore, restorative processes will form the foundations of this. You won't achieve much without it.

Social Justice and Mental Health in Cheltenham - Learning Support in Cheltenham and Gloucester - Education and Training.

**7-17, Primary, and Secondary aged students all with EHCPs for their mental health - some students will also have Autism, Complex Social Needs, OCD, verbal and non-verbal children

**Higher level of cognitive learning, combined with complex social anxiety - restorative approach required and education and training provided

**Key elements of working with academically capable students, working through restorative

**Number of Therapies introduced and holistic processes, a little progress is a cause for success here

**Pathological Demand Avoidance and Pervasive developmental disorder

**Secondary aged students with levels of learning well below their stated age

**Positive engagement, giving the children a sense of acceptance, talking therapy will not always work here so different approaches required

**Giving the students objectives and as much independence as is possible, especially if the students are in assisted
